Effective immediately FEMA has severed it's relationship with UMBC Centrelearn and we no longer have access to the Centrelearn training modules. The new online training will eventually be able to be done on the Emergency Management Institutes (EMI's) website once the transistion has been completed. Jason Paluck will no longer be available for questions and assistance...that's for me know. It is hoped that once the transistion has occurred, that all modules that you had completed will automatically be switched over. The EMI website is still under construction and you can do other training from FEMA, but you will not see the newly converted courses. We all ask for your patience with this transition and you can ALL be assured that once this change-over takes place, FEMA will require additional training and will be checking your status before you will be able to deploy in the future. Things are tightening up, programs are in place and finally coming together, and the system is starting to move again. When it comes time to announce the new training requirements please read all directions and complete them as quickly as possible regardless of due dates. This will be very helpful not only to FEMA but to your entire command staff. Discuss this article on the forums. (0 posts)
